what to use for routine cleaning grout tile?

grout only.

I use vinegar, because I'm too lazy to clean the grout and tile separately. It will remove most everything except the red wine you will need bleach or borax. But vinegar is ideal for cleaning grout because it is acidic and you do not rinse.

What is the best product for cleaning and cleaning tools to wipe with a tile shower?

I'm most recent cleaning and need help. I have a white shower tile with white grout. The grout and tile (especially on the floor of the shower) are likely becoming brownish. What is the best product to use to get them white again? So I'm not sure what the best tool to use for this work. A scrubbing brush? A sponge? Do I need to let the cleaner sit on the floor for a while? I also have a glass door that I would get the water drop off brands. What would be best for the glass door? How often should I clean the shower tiles looking for a bright white. Thank you for your help:)

I use bartender friend. You can find at Wal-Mart side of the comet. It works much better if. All wet from the shower, then sprinkle with scub nail brush until it comes out. This powder cleans everything at hand and get those deep stains and hard water stains. You can clean once a week. As an antifungal spray after the shower, I mix 2 tablespoons Tea tree oil Tea (Wal-Mart Pharmacy by witch hazel) in a spray bottle with 12 ounces of water. Shak and mist on the walls and floor to prevent mold. It does not blow like you bleach and it will not hurt your clothes if you accidentally spray it on yourself. As to your door glass, a mixture of 1 part vinegar white and 4 parts water in a spray bottle effectively clean all glass surfaces leaving a streak shines more. To avoid sticking to things Me, I give the glass and the surrounding metal, a very light coat of car wax and dry after my own .. Just do not get your shower tray or you may injure yourself.

I can not believe that oil! Humans have been using oil for thousands of years, long before drilling technology that arrived in the mid-1800s. Ancient cultures used as an adhesive and caulk the seams of wooden ships. Chinese used it as fuel to heat homes and light their lamps.

how do I get white grout with white tiles again?

We moved into a house of seven years and the white bathroom tile grout ceramic floor will not come clean. We have tried bleach, another brand, a steamboat and a lot of cleaning products that people said it work, but no help. We soaked and brushed. If I'm digging the grout and redo it, what is the easiest way? I heard a church key works. Yes, it is sanded grout. If I can clean and seal my wife could be happy with it.

A product called tri-sodium-phosphare will clean the place. coach

How can i clean grout off tile travertine that has not been cleaned properly

I installed travertine tile in my shower grout and starts when I was called away before I was able to finish cleaning Can I clean the grout off the tile?

I do not know precisely travertine. But I used Brillo pads to clean off excess grout from ceramic (It was recommended to me by a professional installer of tiles). Get a scrub pad that is considered "fine" or "very good" He wet it, then away until all extra grout is gone (they also grout scrapers if you have large pieces that must come off). Note: I recommend trying it in an inconspicuous place to make sure that the travertine does not scratch easily.

Working with Glass Block. I waited too long to clean mortor. Cleaning tips?

I put a small 16 "X32" Glass block window in my bathroom. This is the first time I worked with glass blocks and I am afraid that I expected long for my final cleaning mortar. It is hard as a rock and I'm not bad on the face of glass. The sponge has been shredded by the mortar. Is what I can do to clean the mortar and just do it between the lines of grout? Or will I have to rip the glass out and start and chalk on it to learn? The DIY thank you! I found that scratching with a flathead screwdriver is allowing me to reduce the grout lines and get chunks, leaving much less for cleaning. Thank you for the advice guys (and gal!) More details. The flathead screwdriver worked great. The sponge grout was worthless, but then I started to use a green carpet of brush that I use to clean the dishes and it worked great. It is all now clean. Thank you all for your advice.

Try a razor blade.

Cleaning ceramic tile floors

Cleaning ceramic tile floors

Cleaning Tile can be a frustrating task because of the difference of the material that is made glazed tiles and grout unglazed. Ceramic tiles are an excellent addition to the house, usually the bathrooms, hallways and kitchens. But like all stories they need periodic cleaning and cleaning of ceramic tile floor is not the same as cleaning a vinyl or wood floor. What makes this difficult is that the tile is glazed, but the grouting unglazed cement mortar between the tiles stained or dirty that much easier than the tile. Although the grout sealer may be applied, it is still not as durable and resistant to stains and dirt that tile. If the grout is dirty the entire floor looks dirty. So how is it clean?

There are many Household Cleaning Products available to do the job, however, none of them are performing much better the white vinegar and hot water. Vinegar is a smooth blend of citric acid tartanic AMD. It makes a great cleaning solvent when mixed with warm water. It rates just as well as commercial cleaning products to clean grout floor and does not cost nearly as much. To clean grout, combine 50/50% mixture of white vinegar and warm water and apply the grout with a sponge. That the game for a few minutes and scrub the grout using a toothbrush. A second application may be necessary if the grout is very dirty. Use the sponge to absorb the waste and clean the floor with a detergent.

The same vinegar and water solution can be used to clean the stains on the tile. Use sponge to clean the entire floor and dry. Because vinegar is an acid it will remove any grout sealer which has not disappeared. After cleaning Reapply the grout sealer, grout using a small brush. Apply two applications of plaster, let it dry completely between applications. Grout Sealer is available in most centers offer an improvement or tile store.

To protect your hands, I recommend that rubber gloves be worn when handling the vinegar solution and apply the grout sealer. It is not necessary use an electric floor scrubber / polisher to clean a ceramic tile floor. The excessive use of washing / polishing can remove the veneer of the slab leaving a matte finish. I do not recommend using Clorox bleach to clean ceramic tile because it casts a yellow square and erode the grout.
